This unusual box is made from a 4″ diameter by 12″ long tree limb. It spins on the lathe like a propeller. It takes concentration and caution as severe injury will result in carelessness. This is one solid piece of wood. There is no glue-up.

This class is intended for the very beginner. The class will focus on woodturning as a hobby. The class has an entertainment feel. However, learning to turn using the Easy Wood tools is the goal. It will have a strong emphasis on safety. Each student will receive one-on one training and hands on experience from Roger Scott, artist and Instructor. Students will learn the proper techniques required to complete one project. Join this class, have some fun and take home a treasure you will be proud of for years to come.

Looking for a unique Date Night? Bring that special person or your best friends for an unforgettable experience. In a private session, the you will learn to make a custom pen on the wood lathe. Night includes pizza, soft drinks and all materials. Take home your custom made pen and great memories of a special evening that will last forever!
Dress is casual, closed toe shoes, hair tied back, no loose fitting clothes.
